Owen
The second one I did for my little nephew Owen, shortly after he was born. His nursery was done in a sports theme, so I chose coordinating baseball prints.

I machine-quilted the background in a traditional cross-hatch pattern, and did a tight ziz-zag around the letters with metallic thread. By hand, I stitched an outline around each little baseball in the border. This took FOREVER, but it came out pretty well. I haven't done much hand-stitching since then. :)
